Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard server log data when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This data is used solely for security and performance monitoring and is not linked to your identity.

Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie (guides_unlocked) to remember that you have accessed our free country guides, so we do not ask for your email address again on future visits. This cookie expires after one year and contains no personal information. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your email address to:

  • Send the retirement guide or resource you requested
  • Occasionally send relevant updates, new country guides, or planning resources

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to any third party. We do not use your information for automated profiling or decisions that would have a legal effect on you.

Email submissions are stored in Airtable, a cloud-based database service. Airtable is located in the United States and is subject to U.S. law. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We retain your email address until you request deletion or unsubscribe from all communications.

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
  • Opt out — unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email we send

5. Third-Party Services

This site uses Airtable for data storage. We do not currently use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) or advertising networks. If this changes, we will update this policy.

6. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
